I feel pretty fortunate to have worked with so many great people and collaborate on some pretty great projects with other talented individuals. In the last ten to fifteen years my work has been published in a dozen or so magazines, and recently on TV a couple times. Projects range from design renderings, product development, and SEMA builds. I've even done a half a dozen or so technical articles that I've illustrated for, written some, performed and documented installations, and even photographed for. Below are just a few examples to check out.
I developed and designed a theme and a concept rendering for a Detroit Muscle project car build. I collaborated with show host Marc Christ on the modifications, design and project name. Then I was brought on the show to present the concept artwork and design options to help kick off their 1981 Mustang Cobra project "Sydewinder". Click link below and see me in the episode at 9:08.
I was hired by Kurt Busch to be a part of the development and design of his next big project build - a 1972 DeTomaso Pantera! I created designs for the extractor hood, lower air dam, and other aero parts. Many colorways were developed along with optional paint schemes and graphics. My design work made it on one of the most popular TV shows! Click on the link below to see my design renderings throughout the show starting at 9:52.
Here's another clip from the show episode showing Kurt and Richard reviewing the initial concepts to help them get inspired.
Here's the Pantera being built. Note the design renderings (top left) always with the car during the build used much like a road map to guide the build.
At the time I owned a clean low mileage 2006 Mustang GT. With suspension, wheels & tires, and catback exhaust mods done - I knew it wouldn't be long before I needed more power! I wrote and photographed for the tech article. All modifications performed by Evolution Performance and John Lund handled the tuning.
Evan Smith and I collaborated together to help inspire Mustang enthusiasts today on how they could take fox body builds in new directions. We developed a bunch of cool concepts and themes to show you how to think outside the box!
